Custom Knives & Ordering
**We are currently accepting orders on Epic and Legendary pieces only. Uncommon and Rare pieces will be produced in batches and made available in our storefront and online store as they are finished**
Didn't find a magical item in our online Bladesmith's shop? Have a special project in mind with a specific enchantment? A custom ordered piece may be right for you.
We offer 4 rarities of custom order, each made to suit a different budget and function. Depending on your rarity, you have various options for blade construction, finish, and handle material.
A 20% nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your spot in line.
Custom orders will be completed in 8-12 months. If you need your blade sooner, we now offer rush orders for an additional fee. Alternatively, check out what we have ready-made, or nearly finished, in the shop. Epic and Legendary pieces may have a longer lead time.
We charge based on the *blade* length of your custom piece. Extra thick knives such as large camp knives, or extra wide blades such as cleavers will incur extra cost. Custom orders are placed through in-person or phone conversation only.

Uncommon
$100 per inch
Made by our outstanding team here at zimKnives. Machine finished surfaces, durable composite handles available in a variety of colors. Same razor sharp edge geometry and perfect balance as any of our customs. Perfect for a working chef at a local Inn, someone cooking for their entire clan at home, or outdoor adventurer traveling through the Spine of the World.
Rare
$125 per inch
Made exclusively by our owner and head bladesmith Nate Zimmerman. Every surface will be hand finished. Options of forged finish or polished clean blade, Your rare item will be made with a premium handle material including enchanted dyed burl from the wild forests of Faerun. A true rare loot drop.
Epic
$200 per inch
Pattern welded (Damascus) blade in your choice of pattern. Any handle material. Added detail such as hand filed carving, truly unique handle shapes, an epic level of detail, fit, and finish. Let us flex our skills and vision and make you a truly Epic piece of gear.
Legendary
